Sand broadcast flooring is an industrial-grade coating system where fine silica sand is broadcast into wet epoxy, creating an aggressive non-slip texture that withstands the most punishing conditions. It's designed for environments where standard epoxy would be too smooth, too slippery, or too thin — auto repair shops, heavy equipment warehouses, manufacturing floors, and facilities where dropped tools, vehicle traffic, and chemical spills are daily realities.

Can you install around lifts, pits, and equipment?
Yes. We work around vehicle lifts, alignment equipment, floor-mounted compressors, and other fixed infrastructure. Jose maps the layout during the estimate to plan the install sequence.
How do you handle a heavily oil-concentrated floor?
Heavy oil contamination requires degreasing followed by aggressive diamond grinding to remove embedded oil from the concrete pores. In extreme cases, we may specify an oil-tolerant primer system. We assess contamination levels during the site visit and price accordingly.
How long does an auto shop floor installation take?
Most single-bay or multi-bay shop installs are complete in 1–2 days. We schedule around your business hours — overnight and weekend installs are available to avoid disrupting your operation.
Does sand broadcast flooring work in outdoor areas?
Sand broadcast with UV-stable topcoats can work in covered outdoor areas. Fully exposed outdoor concrete has different thermal expansion characteristics — Jose will advise on suitability during the estimate.

Sweep or blow out debris regularly. For oil spills, clean promptly with a degreaser and soft brush — the non-porous topcoat prevents oil from soaking into the concrete. Avoid pressure washing at high PSI, which can damage the texture over time.
